Adwaizer AI Consulting Inc. (“Adwaizer,” “we,” “us”) operates the adwaizer.com website and platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation, including Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

This policy covers adwaizer.com. Our Acuarela app (acuarela.adwaizer.com — the Shopify app, Studio, and the free color photo check) has its own Acuarela Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Name, email address, and company name (contact forms, newsletter signup)
• Account credentials (email and password, or Google OAuth)
• Course engagement data (lesson ratings, reviews, comments, capstone submissions)
• Messages submitted through support or contact forms, including the Acuarela access request form
• What you type to our AI chat assistant, or say to our voice assistant, if you choose to use them

Information collected automatically (with your consent):

• Pages visited, session duration, and navigation patterns
• Device type and screen size (no device fingerprinting)
• Referring URL (how you found our site)

Automatic analytics collection only occurs if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner. With your consent we use two analytics tools: our own anonymous analytics (stored in Canada, no IP address) and Google Analytics, operated by Google LLC in the United States, which sets cookies and receives your IP address (with IP anonymization turned on). If you choose “Essential only”, neither loads.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve our courses, labs, and learning platform
• Respond to inquiries and support requests
• Send course updates and relevant communications (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve content and user experience
• Process payments through our third-party payment processor (Stripe)

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• AWS (Amazon Web Services) — infrastructure hosting, authentication (Cognito), data storage (DynamoDB). Data resides in Canada (ca-central-1 region).
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles payment data under their own privacy policy.
• Google — OAuth authentication (if you choose to sign in with Google); Google Analytics (only with your consent); and the Gemini API, which generates our chat assistant’s replies from what you type.
• ElevenLabs — our voice assistant, if you choose to start a voice call.

We require these service providers to protect personal information and to use it only to provide their services to us.

Processing outside Canada

Our website data, accounts, and contact form submissions are stored in Canada (AWS ca-central-1). Some service providers process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States: Google (analytics, sign-in, chat assistant), ElevenLabs (voice assistant), and Stripe (payments). Information processed in another country is subject to that country’s laws, and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.

5. Data Storage & Retention

• Website, account, and contact data is stored in Canada (AWS ca-central-1 region); see “Processing outside Canada” above for service providers
• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Analytics data is automatically deleted after 90 days
• Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months
• Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal information and account
• Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for non-essential data collection at any time
• Portability — Quebec residents may ask for their information in a structured, commonly used technological format
• Complaint — file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest (AES-256), and access controls via AWS IAM. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We keep a record of any privacy breach, and we notify you and the privacy regulators when a breach creates a real risk of significant harm.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our platform is designed for business professionals and is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
